EdwynUK at Revesby Country Fair

August 6, 2013

Having grown up in the Lincolnshire Wolds in the beautiful town of Louth I thought I’d combine a visit to see the parents with work, so this past Sunday I took EdwynUK to Revesby Country Fair, which is only 20 minutes away. If you follow EdwynUK on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram you will have seen some of the lovely visitors to the stand.RevesbyThere were many, many, beautiful dogs, and I have to report a terrier bias! In fact within the first hour I had met three different Welsh Terrier owners (and two more later in the day) and such was the jungle telegraph that I knew Bryn the 6 month old pups name before he’s even made it to our stand! And the lady wearing the covetable terrier blouse came to tell me she’s just met a couple with a Welsh Terrier AND a Wire Fox Terrier – who turned out to be my brother and sister-in-law! (they hadn’t told me they were coming….) Although the award to most spotted breed had to go to the Border Terriers. And the award to the most tired to the Wire Haired Dachshund who flopped like a rag doll in it’s owners arms, too tired to put another paw forward!

We had a great day,  met so many lovely friendly people and some super dogs and went home very tired and happy…..but not before watching Whiskey and Baxter, Edwyn’s ‘cousins’ competing in the terrier racing! And here it is………
