It’s hard to believe, but this boy is 10 years old today! So of course I made him a hat, using some of our blue dotty fabric and made the pom pom using the fork method (thanks Tiff for the tip) To celebrate I’ve made him some lamb cupcakes and we’re meeting in our fave local cafe Deeney’s for breakfast with friends (human, and very talented), no doubt Edwyn will beg for some of their haggis! And no doubt there’ll be a walk in the fabulous Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which, if you follow us on instagram will know is one of our favourites!
To honour this great milestone we’ve a 20% discount in our Etsy shop until Sunday. Just use the code HAPPYBIRTHDAYEDWYN10 at checkout!
Here are the Lamb cupcakes with cream cheese topping and blueberry decorations! Recipe courtesy of the Lily’s Kitchen Cookbook. These will wait for tea time!
This morning Edwyn finally got his own red tartan neckerchief. We have them in our Etsy shop and sell them on our Spitalfields stall on Saturdays and they have been so popular every time I put one by for Edwyn it then goes to a customer. But not today!
We think they look lovely and festive and suit all dogs and the great thing is they can be any time of year, not just Christmas!
Black Friday is everywhere but each week at Spitalfields Market we reward those who make the trip to see us with a discount on our hand made goods, as do many designer makers at fairs and markets across the country, so this Christmas shop small and support independent, small businesses near you!
We will be at Spitalfields Market every Saturday 11-5pm from now until Christmas, so come and visit if you can. Or if you can’t you can shop online in our Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/EdwynUK
The wonderful folk at Etsy UK have teamed up with West Elm London and are hosting a pup-up On Saturday 18th July in their Tottenham Court Road store.
How amazing is that?! What’s even more amazing is that we’ve been asked to take part! We’re so exited! It seems like a perfect fit, furniture and interiors is my first love, and so to be invited to sell in such a great setting will be an absolute joy. Here’s a peak at the space where we’ll be setting up shop……
And here’s a photo of Edwyn (in the neckerchief) and myself. And on the right are the lovely shelves West Elm sell, which I think would make the perfect fabric storage solution…….. West Elm are giving a 15% discount in-store throughout the day and we will be offering special PupUp discount rates too, so it’s well worth a visit! Do bring your four legged friend if you can, West Elm is dog friendly (naturally) but so are Habitat and Heals, so if you need a day of sofa testing with your pup, then this is the time to do it!
When: Saturday 18th July. 10am-5pm
Where: West Elm, 209 Tottenham Court Road, London, W1T 7PN
For more info see the EtsyUK blog post which has more details on all the sellers: Pup Tart, Hiro & Wolf, Hello Harriet and our good selves EdwynUK
See you on the 18th!
The daffodils are out, the clocks are changing this weekend and next weekend it’s Easter! Finally we can put winter behind us, although the temperatures are still a bit nippy!
In celebration we’ve made a few of our well loved dog tidy pouches in to a treat bag version, useful for both hounds and humans to stash their favourite treats in a waterproof lined pouch which clips handily onto bags, belt loops and leads.
We’re sure with Easter around the corner some of you will somewhere to keep your chocolate stash, so what better than your very own treat bag? We know some of you use them to keep snacks at work…….
Available in our Etsy shop.
And remember, keep chocolate out of reach from your four legged friends!
We would like to thank all our lovely customers old and new who have supported us and helped make this the best year ever for us. Special thanks to all those who’ve made the trip to Spitalfields, we appreciate your visits, especially if accompanied by a canine friend! To our Instagram Twitter and Facebook friends, thank you for being such entertaining distractions, you’re all pawsome!
Have a wonderful Christmas and see you in 2015!
