Laura Knight – Staffordshire Dogs

I love theses dogs, and love the storey of how this very talented lady works. 
She came to my attention quite by chance when I met a lovely lady Mandy, and her Wire Fox Terrier, Basil while walking on Hampstead Heath. 
We got chatting, as you do, and ended up doing the whole walk together – very kind as we normally get completely lost on the Heath, and ended up having a coffee at Kenwood House. Anyway, Mandy told me about a friend of hers who had been featured on the Spitalfields Life blog, and mentioned Staffordshire dogs. I didn’t at first appreciate the reference was to the pot dogs not the oft maligned ‘Staffies’ that are both loved and loathed.

Well I’m glad I bothered to search Laura Knight out as her work is charming, and as someone who works with rubber stamps myself, it’s facinating to hear how others work – especially if dogs are in any way involved!
