Scottie Embroidered Cushion

Here it is, the final embroidered Scottish Terrier. Worked up from the drawings I’d done earlier.

Fashions for ‘proper’ Sottish Terrier haircuts and probably shapes (or confirmation to use the proper term…) have changed from the 30’s/40’s when they were a much more regular sight. Then they didn’t have so much of a ‘skirt’ that they have today on the show table. So I had to combine reference material to get the shape Scottie I personally liked best.
I like my terriers a little less than perfect, well they soon end up scruffy little urchins anyway!
