I was interested to see this print when I was doing research on the TWO SCAMPS.
In 1975 I bought an old picture frame in a bring & buy. I needed the frame to put a painting I had done in. On removeing the existing picture A lovely picture of The Two Scamps was revealed this is pasted on thin cardboard with the no 7593 in pencil on the rear. Do I presume this is an Antique Print & how can I find if it has any value.

It’s a lovely print isn’t it?
I know Celcil Aldin is a well known and collected artist, but I wouldn’t know how to go about finding out the value of the print, unless you can find a dealer on the internet who specialises in the artist.
The print I have is a very battered example my sister picked up while at a fair in the grounds of an old house. I don’t think it is particularly worth very much in monetary value, but I love it!

Cecil Aldin is a marvelous dog artist – one of the very
best, I think – esp. on terriers. Let’s hear more about him !
